First of all, I would like to say this Cappello’s Gluten Free Vegan Cookie Dough Review is not sponsored. This blog post consists of my sincere and honest experience with their product.

A little background; Amanda was diagnosed with Celiac in 2003. She has been on a journey to find great tasting gluten free foods. There has been a lot of ooh gross and ooh wow moments. Anthony has been Vegan for over 2 years after being diagnosed with T–Cell Lymphoma Cancer. As you can imagine, it is a challenge to find great tasting Vegan and Gluten free foods.


What do we think about Cappello’s Gluten Free Vegan Chocolate Chip Cookies?

Well…. We had very high expectations after paying $11.99 for one roll of dough. This product received mixed reviews in our family. Anthony loved them! They remind him of European cookies. Amanda felt they were not sweet enough and the salty peanut flavor overpowered.

They cooked beautifully and had a wonderful crunchy texture. Surprisingly, each cookie only contains 5 grams of sugar; which makes them a great treat for those watching their sugar intake.

What are the ingredients?

Almond flour, organic maple syrup, chocolate morsels (unsweetened chocolate, organic cane sugar, cocoa butter), arrowroot flour, organic unrefined coconut oil, organic vanilla extract, sea salt, baking soda.

Contains tree nuts (almond and coconut).
